Anthony Weiner should really change the spelling of his name to “W-i-e-n-e-r”. Because no matter how you spell it, he’s a dick.

Gentlemen, the next time you get the urge to use your cellphone to text words, pictures video, or all of the above, aka, “sexting”, that could put you in an unflattering – how shall I put this, er “position” should they ever be seen by someone other than the intended party on the other end, take my advice and just don’t do it.

ESPECIALLY if you use said cellphone for work. And uber ESPECIALLY if your work puts you in the public eye, in any way, shape or form. Getting busted sexting under any circumstances would be embarrassing for anyone, but exponentially so if you have a job that gives you any semblance of notoriety, celebrity or fame.

Hell, it’s one thing for your significant other to catch you showing your giblets off to your groupies. But it’s quite another for TMZ to get the goods on you. Exhibit A?: One Anthony Weiner. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, dude was a former congressman who got 21 months in the big house when he got caught sexting a 15-year-old girl.

Now, if he had it to do all over again, he probably still would, because, well, he’s a creepy perv with some serious issues. But you’re smarter that, so you know better than to engage in such foolishness, yes? Hey, if you want to sext, go for it. Just make sure whoever you’re sending those messages to is of age. Just remember, to keep two things in mind before sexting.

1.) Don’t be a Weiner.

2.) Don’t be a dick.
