This isn’t just a statement. It’s the beginning of a movement.
A funny thing happened the day after the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States Of America on Friday, January 20th, 2017. More specifically, the American people decided to show up in literally DROVES the day AFTER the inauguration of the new POTUS. Women from all over the world, from cities all over the world, came out in full force, in solidarity, to be seen and heard. Why? For lots of reasons, not the least of which I would believe, is their proclamation that they will not be marginalized by a man who seems to think they merely exist to be objectified by men like him. Many people think it was a one time thing and want to dismiss it as a bunch of people angry about the results of the election. Those people are not paying attention and they clearly don’t understand what those mass demonstrations were about. They’re going to see that it really was only the beginning of letting the new POTUS and his underlings know that We, The People, are not about to let them off the hook. And I don’t know about you, but I definitely have my popcorn ready.
